A guy liked the 47-Plus but wanted more room. Kaya at Asboat did this version for him, then asked me to make plans for it. Frankly, this ain't my kind of boat as some of you might suspect from reading my stuff! But I tried, and below is what I came up with.

This idea has a relatively low profile and still looks like a boat. I have a hell of a time with interiors and this is as far as I got. It seems this kind of boat will be used by families more than "gung ho" cruisers, so I gave it guest or kid's bunks in the bow. She has a large bathroom (bigger than a yacht "head"). Just one. The aft section would be galley and living area. I didn't get that far with it yet. And of course the roof is also a living area.

I started to like this idea but I got shot down by the owner. He wanted a higher aft house giving more space over the engine. To me, that just means you'll need a step ladder to get down to it. Plus, rather than access to the fwd. cabin from the wheelhouse, he wanted a passageway beside the room under the wheelhouse. Unfortunately that really robs from the bedroom. I drew the profile below and the Lines for it, but I simply can't do the interior. I think I got fired as he has stopped writing me however Kaya is building her as the following photos will be showing. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do the interior! Oh, I do see the place for this boat. She'll be a live-aboard cruiser based around the Med and I'm sure she'll be wonderful for that use. And of course she is just what her owner wants, and that's the bottom line. I wish I wasn't so goddam rigid.....
